    Our goal was to embody the joy of our organization, while elevating our branding and packaging to align with our price point and competitors.

    Our volume precluded custom vessels and closures, so we carefully sought accessible components with elevated touches:

    • From Cylinder To Boston Round
    • From Shinny White Closures To Matte Black

    The cost of the elevated materials was within $5 of the previous packaging’s annual cost.

Transitioned from essential oil to natural fragrance, which contributed to the lower cost and does not require shaking before use.

MYCHANIC

Fastback Shop Stool

MYCHANIC’s niche was feature rich garage essentials. I realized there was a missed opportunity (specifically on Amazon) to offer a quality, entry-level shop stool. 

I was able to work with Product Development to resuscitate a similar idea they'd discarded.

I asked PD to help ensure the package within the 18” length for Amazon’s Standard Large: a savings of $6.58 FBA fee per unit. 

While our stool was still $65 vs the $40 competitors, it shot to the Top 10 in the Amazon category within weeks and sold $200K+ the first year.
